Good chair, I have made two of them. I bought my tray hardware from Rockler. Rockler admitted they changed the tray mount, due to this the arm that holds the clamp needs to the lengthened about 2 inches. If this is not done the fit between the tray and chair is to tight. Another modification again with the arm, I found the arm cutout from the back spindle was placed to low on the back spindle. I raised to a half inch which necessitated raising the length of the turned arm spindles.
Good chair, helps if the builder has a drill press that can handle duel angles.
